Centre for Development Of Advanced computing (CDAC, Noida) erst while ER&DCI, Noida was established with the mandate to undertake and promote State-of-the-Art, Scienctific Research & Development in Electronics and to Design and Develop Electronics equipment and Systems for the growth of Electronics Industry. It caters to the needs of the Northern and Central states. The unit stabilized its operations in the new R&D complex in Institutional Area, Sector-62 Noida and positioned itself as a Centre of Excellence meeting the requirements of the industries/institutions in UP and adjoining States.

The Natural Language Processing software development is the core activity of CDAC Noida. This unit is involved in advanced research for introduction of Hindi on computers and development of related software and customised software solution in Indian languages.
